Grip any product! If you are looking for a suction cup that can grip any product, Piab’s piGRIP ® might be the solution. This unique suction cup concept offers individually optimised parts for gripping, lifting, and height compensation. Fitting and flow restrictors With a wide range of fittings, you can easily retrofit existing suction cups or fit new machines. The fittings are available in both threaded and push-on options. In addition, piGRIP ® cups come with flow restrictors that allow you to handle different sizes of objects in a centralised vacuum system. Bellows You can also choose from various bellows, including firm and stable 1, 3 and 6 folded bellows, which enable faster machine speeds. The tin wall design makes them compress faster, using less force and energy. Compared to similar conventional cups, the strength of the material increases the lifting capacity between 30% and 50%. You can also choose transparent, FDA-approved material. Filters Furthermore, the low-micron filter disc inside the bellows traps dust and particles, which increases system reliability. A mesh filter is available in the fitting as well. Lips The suction cups also come with a variety of lips that are tailored to your needs. From standard 60° shore lips to highly flexible, soft lips on 30° shore, Piab has got you covered. They even offer tailor-made bag lips for handling bags and pouches, foam lips for objects that are difficult to grip with traditional cups, and high-temperature lips for specific applications.
