Pipe Sealing Cord TruTite™ pipe sealing cord, is a threaded pipe and fitting cord sealant, suitable for potable water applications. The cord is released easily from from the tub via a built-in cutter. We recommend the pipe sealing cord for creating a non leak barrier on any plastic and metal tapered pipe threads and fittings up to 4”. Suitable for commercial and domestic applications for common pipework including potable water and comes with WRAS approval. TruTite™ pipe sealing cord is effective immediately after application, the cord will allow small adjustments during its quick drying time. This product can be used in applications up to 149°C / up to 85°C WRAS approved.

Thread Lock

313 Thread Lock TruTite™ 313 thread lock is designed for the instant assembly of threaded fasteners which if required can be disassembled with standard hand tools for maintenance or replacement purposes. The product is an anaerobic thread lock which cures when oxygen is no longer present. This occurs when the air between two metal fittings disperses which then allows the blue liquid to cure in a matter of minutes (please see curing times). This process then forms a strong fitment which will prevent any loosening and leaks from vibrations caused to the fitment. TruTite™ 313 thread lock is most often used on brass and steel but is also effective on stainless steel, aluminium and BZP steel products.
